On two AA batteries, you'll get 600 hours of runtime (with alkaline) or 1100 hours (with lithium), this optic can support both. The Eotech 512 is trusted by law enforcement across the United States, often times being utilized by departments as a cost-effective option over the EXPS line, when night-vision compatibility is not a concern for officers.
